Igor Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Hegoi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Mambru in the 17th minute of play forced Dorrego's goalkeeper Timoteo Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Filgueira Juan Club's Maximo Jaen in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filomeno Mambru scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Hegoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filomeno Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Timoteo Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Filgueira Juan Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Macias came free, but Arkadiusz Barys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristo Macias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kåre Nordström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dorrego fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 55th minute, Igor Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Hegoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Maximo Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filgueira Juan Club's Igor Guter got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arkadiusz Barys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Lalla went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Igor Guter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Timoteo Hegoi 76 minutes into the match. Timoteo Hegoi was a little too slow when Igor Guter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-5. Filgueira Juan Club's Arkadiusz Barys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Nordström in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Nordström in the 91st minute of play forced Filgueira Juan Club's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Barys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Lalla in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Filgueira Juan Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
