Báez's Natalio Guerrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Báez from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, one of Báez:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Báez. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Máté Szepes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Báez's supporters rose to their feet, but Máté Szepes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Sayvion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Infanzón booed when Báez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Israel Polo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Infanzón's Godofredo Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevie Bright in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Infanzón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Bembe to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Báez's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Calvet came free, but Natalio Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Antonio Calvet took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Natalio Guerrero to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stevie Bright to make the kick off. Máté Szepes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Calvet in the 57th minute of play forced Báez's goalkeeper Natalio Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Infanzón's Arnoldo Martinez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Guerrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Stevie Bright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaston Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Guerrero having to interfere. Natalio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Infanzón had won after a very even match.
