Honorio Mikelar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basilio Leoiar firmly grabbed it by the left post. 11 minutes into the game, Chimenea's Andrézinho Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Ignado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Saul Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ioritz in the 14th minute of play. Basilio Leoiar made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Honorio Mikelar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Honorio Mikelar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, LA BANDA UNIDA's Eusebio Firman got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute, Andrézinho Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Saul Ignado. LA BANDA UNIDA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Humberto Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Saul Ignado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Ignacio Montxo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chimenea's Basilio Leoiar. Basilio Leoiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute Edgard Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Ioritz in the 37th minute of the match. Ignacio Montxo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, LA BANDA UNIDA's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Ioritz came free, but Saul Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Mikelar to strike the kick off in the second half. Saul Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Ioritz in the 51st minute. 58 minutes into the match, LA BANDA UNIDA's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Dantas came free, but Saul Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chimenea booed when LA BANDA UNIDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA BANDA UNIDA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Humberto Otsoa scored to the left of an out of position Saul Ignado, making the score, 1-3. LA BANDA UNIDA's Saul Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Dantas in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, LA BANDA UNIDA's Saul Ignado got control of the ball when Humberto Otsoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Chimenea's Humberto Otsoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saul Ignado. Saul Ignado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Humberto Otsoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chimenea getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Virgilio Quinito hit a great ball. Chimenea's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
