Mariano Solustiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Carnavaldeocio FC defense, Carlos Olayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Rozarius. The Carnavaldeocio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Rozarius should have stopped the shot. Teo Castulo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Mariano Solustiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnavaldeocio FC. When Teo Castulo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carnavaldeocio FC's protests and gave Teo Castulo a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Carnavaldeocio FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Castulo. Congreso FC's Carlos Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Eugenio Domiku notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Carnavaldeocio FC's Alfredo Rozarius. Alfredo Rozarius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Modesto Nerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Rozarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Richie in the 93rd minute of the match. Mariano Solustiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Castulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Carnavaldeocio FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Congreso FC to win.
