Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Joel Galdamez made the kick off and thus started the match. When Dan Orupõld came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Orupõld couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Breas got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Urtsin. After 30 minutes, Isidoro Cisco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breas and the Argentinos Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Galdamez in the 31st minute of play forced Breas's goalkeeper Everardo Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Oxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Pinheiro made a huge save. Everardo Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Galdamez in the 40th minute of the match. Herminio Oxel struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Rodrigo Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breas. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Everardo Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Galdamez in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Herminio Oxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Breas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Breas's Herminio Oxel got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Oxel in the 71st minute of the match. Herminio Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Breas booed when Argentinos Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Breas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulino Mannie was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentinos Juniors's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Paulino Mannie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Ibañez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd minute, Benjamin Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Breas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Galdamez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Everardo Ibañez. That made the score 2-1 in the 87 minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Joel Galdamez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breas's Everardo Ibañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Breas players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
