In the 19th minute, Niyazi Yaşer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club A. River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 22nd minute Isidoro Godoy suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Santos Orti fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cervantes AFC's protests and gave Santos Orti a yellow card for diving instead. Club A. River Plate's Aurelio Milio was substituted for Isidoro Godoy. 29 minutes into the match, Club A. River Plate's Godofredo Darien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Errolan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niyazi Yaşers short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Remigio Errolan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Niyazi Yaşer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Errolan was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Ugaitz to make the kick off. Remigio Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Darien, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 62 minutes of play, Club A. River Plate's Godofredo Darien made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Errolan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Club A. Cervantes AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Niyazi Yaşer struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Remigio Errolan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club A. River Plate. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Darien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Errolan was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Remigio Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niyazi Yaşer, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. River Plate's Anastasio Egoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Errolan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club A. River Plate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
