Eusebio Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Marcos Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Candonga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Heli came free, but Eusebio Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Marciano Abarca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfonso Vigil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Constantino Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Candonga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Cordarius might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Vigil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Cordarius ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Abarca in the 26th minute of play forced Barreal's goalkeeper Alfonso Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Jimeno Toli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusebio Amato. The goal made the score 1-1. Eusebio Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Heli in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Eugenio Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Cordarius in the 41st minute of play forced Barreal's goalkeeper Alfonso Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Candonga FC booed when Barreal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Cordarius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Vigil having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Heli to make the kick off. Marcos Tiniebra hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Barreal's Jimeno Toli in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candonga FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alfonso Vigil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Abarca in the 61st minute. Anacleto Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Barreal's goalkeeper Alfonso Vigil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Abarca. Alfonso Vigil stood somewhat misplaced when Marciano Abarca came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 67 minute. In the 71st minute Jimeno Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 80 in the game by Marciano Abarca from a close distance when the talented Alfonso Vigil managed to make a qualified save. Barreal's players were relieved. Jimeno Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Amato having to interfere. Eugenio Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eusebio Amato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Candonga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Segio to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Candonga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Heli came free, but Eusebio Amato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Barreal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Candonga FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
