The tension between the Goldney AFC and the Alpes Andinos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Basilio Argi had several of the Alpes Andinos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Marcones Pescaredo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 35th minute, one of Goldney AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goldney AFC. In the 44th match minute, Alpes Andinos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Raul Cordairo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
