But to his dismay, Hector Pacorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mauricio Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Pacorro's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Uriel Bartoleme hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Honorio Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Ferman's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Hector Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafayete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Pacorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Ferman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Uriel Bartoleme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivadavia and the Cafayete players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Ferman's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Guillermo Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafayete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Ferman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Pacorro came free, but Mauricio Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Guerrero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cafayete's Guillermo Ferman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Hector Pacorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Pacorro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Guerrero. Mauricio Guerrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mauricio Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mauricio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Ferman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Ignado to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Ferman to strike the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Ferman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hector Pacorro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Guillermo Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Guerrero having to interfere. When Guillermo Ferman came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cafayete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Ferman couldn't finish the play. With his leg Mauricio Guerrero managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Cafayete's Hector Pacorro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 75th minute, Cafayete's Guillermo Ferman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauricio Guerrero. Mauricio Guerrero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Cafayete's Guillermo Ferman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Guerrero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Guillermo Ferman took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Mauricio Guerrero to make any attempt to save it. Rivadavia's Mauricio Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Ferman in the 86th minute of play. Godfredo Merexildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Guerrero having to make a save. Mauricio Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Guillermo Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mauricio Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Pacorro in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rivadavia's zone, Hector Pacorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Guerrero came out of the goal and Hector Pacorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
