Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guillermo Ferman got the match started through his kick off. Guillermo Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Nevada having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Guillermo Ferman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sergio Nevada to make any attempt to save it. After 13 played minutes Cafayete got a freekick which was hit by Hector Pacorro. In the 20th minute, Guillermo Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Cafayete's Guillermo Ferman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Nevada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Anisacate got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Columbo. In the 31st minute Gerardo Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jonas Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anisacate's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Estebano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Tome breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Estebano to make the kick off. Anisacate's Sergio Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Ferman in the 55th minute of play. If Hector Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Guillermo Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Cafayete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Ferman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Estebano in the 61st minute of play forced Cafayete's goalkeeper Freddy Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Hector Pacorro made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Nevada. Anisacate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Nicanor Galoer's late challenge caught a Anisacate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Galoer helped the player get up and apologised. If Hector Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Ferman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ferman in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Celedonio Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anisacate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Columbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anisacate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cafayete.
