Aristides Oliveiro struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. 邓耀德 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pedernales FT. 15 minutes into the game, Correcaminos's Cayetano Selatse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Baumer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cayetano Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Baumer having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Cayetano Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Baumer. Pedernales FT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 邓耀德 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Martino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 邓耀德 came out and tried to block the shot, but Elpidio Martino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Teo Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Jenaro, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Damaso Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Edgard Iban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedernales FT and the Correcaminos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Pedernales FT got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Iban. Pedernales FT's Eduardo Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Selatse in the 38th minute of play. Eduardo Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Avellaneda in the 40th minute of play. Elpidio Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邓耀德 having to interfere. When Damaso Orzaize came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Pedernales FT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Orzaize couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Martino to make the kick off. Cleto Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Fonso in the 57th minute of play forced Correcaminos's goalkeeper 邓耀德 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Correcaminos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dalmacio Ekain hit a great ball. If Elpidio Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Elpidio Martino put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of 邓耀德. After 70 minutes of play, Pedernales FT's Aristides Oliveiro made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 邓耀德 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邓耀德 having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Correcaminos's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Martino came free, but 邓耀德 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Tomas Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Correcaminos's 邓耀德 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Martino in the 83rd minute of play. Tomas Romildo, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Pedernales FT booed when Correcaminos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Romildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pedernales FT fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Pedernales FT's Elpidio Martino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
