The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Domeka during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Americo Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. duber las estrellas's Julio Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sindo in the 11th minute of play. If Julian Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 17th minute of the match Americo Domeka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Americo Domeka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cayetano Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Matxin charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Matxin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tatón booed when duber las estrellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tatón's Celso Sindo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, duber las estrellas's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Cesario came free, but Julio Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Romulo Raphael managed to get in a good position for a shot. duber las estrellas's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Raphael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Roano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Cayetano Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Raphaels short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Omar Roano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Romulo Raphael came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Omar Roano could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Cesario in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Acosta saved duber las estrellas from getting behind. Leon Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celso Sindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
