Octavio Gizon's late challenge caught a Benavídez AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Gizon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Arizona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Gizon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Chale in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Chayo saved Benavídez AFC from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Arizona FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Frans. In the 38th minute, Gabriel Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arizona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Marcelo Delgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Luken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Delgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Benavídez AFC's Marcelo Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Benavídez AFC's Jacobo Domenec in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arizona FC's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Luken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Domenec in the 83rd minute. If Jacobo Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arizona FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eustaquio Hitzeder hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arizona FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Benavídez AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
