After a defensive mix-up in Bragado AFC's zone, Ceferino Peyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Mero came out of the goal and Ceferino Peyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ceferino Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceretti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Peyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Bragado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Peyo came free, but Jacobo Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
