Mechita FC's Octavio Demario tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Silverio Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Demario having to interfere. Octavio Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Misael in the 19th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Saverio Txordon sped through Mechita FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octavio Demario. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Txordon in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Demario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octavio Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Txordon in the 31st minute of play. If Silverio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Saverio Txordon notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mechita FC's Octavio Demario. Octavio Demario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saverio Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Demario having to interfere. Octavio Demario came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gaimán's Saverio Txordon. But to his dismay, Saverio Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Silverio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Octavio Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Txordon in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Demario saved Mechita FC from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Saverio Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaimán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Txordon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Txordon got free with Octavio Demario in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mechita FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Claudio Toribio hit a great ball. Saverio Txordon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Octavio Demario firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Toribio during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mechita FC's Claudio Toribio got a free kick in the 59th minute. Octavio Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Misael in the 60th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Saverio Txordon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Demario was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Gaimán's Conrado Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Mechita FC's Octavio Demario got control of the ball when Saverio Txordon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Demario made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Saverio Txordon sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Octavio Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Conrado Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaimán's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gaimán! The referee gave Mechita FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardo Rocendo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gaimán's Alejandro Bazil. 2-5.
