But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Lope couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mechita FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Claudio Toribio hit a great ball. 周升凌 scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Demario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 周升凌, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, 周升凌 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 周升凌 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Octavio Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Lertxun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arturo Bladi made a huge save. Wagn Frøslee's late challenge caught a Mechita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wagn Frøslee helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Wagn Frøslee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 周升凌 struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Octavio Demario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunarejos. Joaquin Vedillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Bladi came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Vedillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Vedillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, 周升凌 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunarejos's supporters rose to their feet, but 周升凌 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mechita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when 周升凌 scored to the left of an out of position Octavio Demario, making the score, 1-2. Ricardo Rocendo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Bladi. Lunarejos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute Blas Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Lope hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lunarejos's Arturo Bladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Vedillo in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Lunarejos got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Mattin. In the 82nd minute, Joaquin Vedillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lunarejos's zone, Ricardo Rocendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Bladi came out of the goal and Ricardo Rocendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Vedillo scored 3-2 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Bladi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
