An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Quintana in the 43rd minute of play forced Angostaco's goalkeeper Simon Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Angostaco's zone, Isaias James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Berdoi came out of the goal and Isaias James tried to chip the ball over his head. Nemesio Quintanas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Simon Berdoi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Angostaco's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Oinaz came free, but Simon Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Quintana got free with Simon Berdoi in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Club Sportivo RivadaviaVT booed when Angostaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Nemesio Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
