Tao Yao Ling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Belo having to interfere. Rigoberto Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Freddy Loiola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avestruz AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Maradona F.C. the free kick. 27 minutes into the game, one of Avestruz AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pablo Lück received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Albano Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Maradona F.C.'s Albano Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tao Yao Ling in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tao Yao Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avestruz AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tao Yao Ling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Belo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Juan Ignacio Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avestruz AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Ignacio Dunixi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona F.C.'s goalkeeper Albano Belo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andres Kismi's late challenge caught a Avestruz AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. Avestruz AFC's Eduardo Cordarell was substituted for Jakub Forst. Andres Kismi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Juan Ignacio Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Belo having to interfere. Pablo Lück blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albano Belo having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Cristobal Ritchie made the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Ciano in the 53rd minute of the match. Albano Belo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tao Yao Ling sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pablo Lück came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Avestruz AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Lück couldn't finish the play. Santa Maradona F.C.'s Andres Kismi got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Andres Kismi off the ground. Andres Kismi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Santa Maradona F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Juan Ignacio Dunixi scored to the left of an out of position Albano Belo, making the score, 1-3. Albano Belo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Avestruz AFC's Tao Yao Ling got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Eduardo Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avestruz AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
