The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Videl during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Tubarao getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Fausto Videl hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Atlético Karasuno booed when Atletico Tubarao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Cordarrell having to interfere. Club Atlético Karasunos' Silvano Cordarrell made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Leopoldo Paublos penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. Atletico Tubarao 's Silvano Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Millano in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Paublo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvano Cordarrell. Leopoldo Paublo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Evaristo Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Karasuno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Evaristo Millano came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Atlético Karasuno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Millano couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Silvano Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mateo Dunixi made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Fonso got free with Javier Bastian in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Karasuno's goalkeeper Javier Bastian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Dunixi. In the 57th minute, Aurelio Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Leon Hanot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Bastian skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Paublo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Cordarrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Karasuno players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
