The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of La Perla Del Valle:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CICLON A.C.:s goal. Celedonio Garaona had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Reynaldo Sanchez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Damaso Osorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Garaona was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, La Perla Del Valle's Lázaro Lastur got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Damaso Osorio came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the CICLON A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Osorio couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Sandalio in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Garaona saved La Perla Del Valle from getting behind. In the 14th match minute, La Perla Del Valle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Hechter to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes of play, CICLON A.C.'s Fausto Sandalio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Damaso Osorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Celedonio Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celedonio Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Osorio in the 29th minute of play. Celedonio Garaona came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CICLON A.C.'s Damaso Osorio. But to his dismay, Damaso Osorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, La Perla Del Valle's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Osorio came free, but Celedonio Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Perla Del Valle's Celedonio Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Sandalio in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, La Perla Del Valle's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Sandalio came free, but Celedonio Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Damaso Osorio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of La Perla Del Valle's Celedonio Garaona. Celedonio Garaona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Jerano made a kick off. In the 55th minute Fausto Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damaso Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Garaona having to interfere. Celedonio Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, La Perla Del Valle's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Sandalio came free, but Celedonio Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La Perla Del Valle getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lázaro Lastur hit a great ball. A hard shot by Reynaldo Sanchez from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Celedonio Garaona's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hipolito Hechter charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Hechter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hipolito Hechter hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Fausto Sandalio took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Garaona. Celedonio Garaona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 81 minutes into the match, CICLON A.C.'s Fausto Sandalio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Garaona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Nikola took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Garaona. Celedonio Garaona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Damaso Osorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Celedonio Garaona made a huge save. Damaso Osorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Celedonio Garaona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Celedonio Garaona didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7.
