Braulio Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Patxi in the 13th minute of play. Calemnio Seattle's Damian Patxi got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calemnio Seattle's Conrado Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Gaztea in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Teobaldo Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Virgilio Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Berto got free with Conrado Vergaray in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Teobaldo Duardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Travesía FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Calemnio Seattle's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Duardo came free, but Conrado Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Berto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Vergaray. Calemnio Seattle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Berto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Patxi to make the kick off. Calemnio Seattle were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Travesía FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ildefonso Gil took the corner. After taking down the ball on Calemnio Seattle's corner Ildefonso Gil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Braulio Escobar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 56th minute, Ciriaco Berto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 59 minutes into the game, one of Calemnio Seattle:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ciriaco Berto's late challenge caught a Calemnio Seattle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Berto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Travesía FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Berto to maneuver through the defense. Travesía FC's Braulio Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Patxi in the 72nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Damian Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Duardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Ciriaco Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
