If Epifanio Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Mergildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Orixe went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes, Ermegildo Lorencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilar FC and the Fenix FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Guillermo Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pilar FC's Guillermo Nazario got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute Segundo Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pastor Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Segundo Jokin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pilar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Jokin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fenix FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Flor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedro Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Jokin in the 54th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Igor Flor made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fenix FC's Pedro Domiku tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 64 minutes, Lucio Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Iigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Jokin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Domiku saved Fenix FC from getting behind. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guillermo Nazario hit a great ball. Epifanio Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Mergildo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Orixe during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fenix FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Epifanio Orixe hit a great ball. Segundo Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pilar FC's Igor Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Domiku stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Jokin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
