Elpidio Urti started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Warcraft's Elpidio Urti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Severiano Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victoriano Pietro in the 7th minute. Elpidio Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Ruisko having to interfere. When Ceferino Acuña came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Campana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Acuña couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Warcraft's goalkeeper Severiano Santxol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Iturri. In the 17th match minute, Warcraft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Egoi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Pietro in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Santxol saved Warcraft from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Campana's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Urti came free, but Benedicto Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carlos Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Elpidio Urti came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Warcraft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Urti couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Urti in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Campana booed when Warcraft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Vito in the 43rd minute of play forced Campana's goalkeeper Benedicto Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes, Prospero Haritzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campana and the Warcraft players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Prospero Haritzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Ceferino Acuña made the kick off in the second half. Warcraft's Severiano Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Acuña in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Victoriano Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Gerardo Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warcraft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Elpidio Urti took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Benedicto Ruisko to make any attempt to save it. Cirilo Herena hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Elpidio Urti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Ruisko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Warcraft's Nunez Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Elpidio Urti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Urti got free with Benedicto Ruisko in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Elpidio Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Campana's zone, Gerardo Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Ruisko came out of the goal and Gerardo Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Benedicto Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Elpidio Urti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedicto Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Urti in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Warcraft could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Campana throughout the match.
