The referee showed Adriana Ederono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PAN DURO F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adriana Ederono hit a great ball. PAN DURO F.C.'s Froilan Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Rozarius in the 24th minute of play. Nestor Martxel's late challenge caught a Newells old boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Martxel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PAN DURO F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nestor Martxel hit a great ball. Peter Sander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Goi scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Sander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of PAN DURO F.C. booed when Newells old boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Burni was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Simon Goi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Sander. Newells old boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Goi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. PAN DURO F.C. were furious when Nestor Martxel was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PAN DURO F.C.! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Newells old boys. Anastasio Lertxun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Froilan Gar. 1-3. After 70 played minutes PAN DURO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Soter. Froilan Gar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Froilan Gar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Weather in the 76th minute of the match. Peter Sander made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Simon Goi sent off a good shot on target. PAN DURO F.C.'s Froilan Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Richie in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Weather in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Gar saved PAN DURO F.C. from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Peter Sander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PAN DURO F.C. played a much better game than Newells old boys and deserved their victory. The Newells old boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
