Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jose Bembe started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Reñico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Sal. Reñico AFC's Denis Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Bembe in the 8th minute of play. Jose Bembe might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Shepherd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Bembe ran back to his position shaking his head. Denis Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Bembe in the 12th minute of the match. Fernan Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Lluterio having to interfere. Reñico AFC's Eliseo Benvido shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dionisio Lluterio but with some difficulty. 17 minutes in the game, Ildefonso Cloyo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dionisio Lluterio having to interfere. Ildefonso Cloyo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Dionisio Lluterio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fidel Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cebollitas Sub Campeón's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Eliseo Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reñico AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cebollitas Sub Campeón the free kick. Denis Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Bembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Cebollitas Sub Campeón's Jose Bembe got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to Cebollitas Sub Campeón getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Carlos Liher hit a great ball. Dionisio Lluterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Cloyo in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Reñico AFC's Fernan Pedroso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dionisio Lluterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 57 minutes, Ildefonso Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reñico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cebollitas Sub Campeón's goalkeeper Dionisio Lluterio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Cebollitas Sub Campeón getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bartolo Matro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Pedroso in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Lluterio saved Cebollitas Sub Campeón from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Cebollitas Sub Campeón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. Cebollitas Sub Campeón's Dionisio Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Cloyo in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Cebollitas Sub Campeón getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fidel Vidal hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Reñico AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Cebollitas Sub Campeón for much of the match.
