Adam Urderean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Oscar Errando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Roberto Thoma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Errando. Mojón AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Thoma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 42 played minutes Mojón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Txomin. If Roberto Thoma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Txomin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Venerando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gogo Remicio made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Mojón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Llope came free, but Oscar Errando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mojón AFC's zone, Roberto Thoma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Errando came out of the goal and Roberto Thoma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Urderean struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Oscar Errando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEFENSORES PUERTO QUEQUEN. DEFENSORES PUERTO QUEQUEN's Gogo Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Handi in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Jeronimo Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Remicio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jeronimo Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mojón AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mojón AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
