An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Maciel in the 14th minute of play forced Vergara FC's goalkeeper Pablo Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrézinho Maciel scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Quirze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Andrézinho Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Quirze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrézinho Maciel's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Humberto Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Humberto Branco made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Quirze. Vergara FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Andrézinho Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pablo Quirze made a huge save. Vergara FC's Pablo Quirze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Vergara FC from getting a goal against them. Aaron Sandaili charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Sandaili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Sandaili hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Anastasio Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cochinoca FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cochinoca FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
