After recieving a nice pass, chacaritachevrolet's Domingo Rexino tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Justino Urritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Defqon.1's Wawrzyniec Jankowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Gabino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Emiliano Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defqon.1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, chacaritachevrolet's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Jankowski came free, but Fausto Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Gabino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Pirmin in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, chacaritachevrolet's Eulalio Efren got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in chacaritachevrolet's zone, Emiliano Pirmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Gabino came out of the goal and Emiliano Pirmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Defqon.1's Gaspar Iyan got a free kick in the 29th minute. Timoteo Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, chacaritachevrolet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Efren to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Tercero made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Hilario Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defqon.1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Gabino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wawrzyniec Jankowski went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Domingo Rexino fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored chacaritachevrolet's protests and gave Domingo Rexino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Domingo Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, chacaritachevrolet's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Jankowski came free, but Fausto Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defqon.1's Gaspar Iyan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Jobo, made in the 70th minute of the game. After 73 minutes, Justino Urritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the chacaritachevrolet and the Defqon.1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justino Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Domingo Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Delfino having to interfere. When Celestino Lain fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defqon.1's protests and gave Celestino Lain a yellow card for diving instead. Defqon.1's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
