After 4 played minutes, V 8's Federico Laurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cássio Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in V 8 reached it. After some careless play in the Los Pitufos Asesinos defense, Herminio Walme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Tande. The Los Pitufos Asesinos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Tande should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute of the match, Anselmo Oliveiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cássio Tande was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 14th minute, Edgard Flor made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Tande. Los Pitufos Asesinos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Cássio Tande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Iraido in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Leguizamón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremias Gomez scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Leguizamón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Leguizamón having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Gomez to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Jeremias Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Pitufos Asesinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Celestino Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Jeremias Gomez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Leguizamón was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Jeremias Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Los Pitufos Asesinos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Gomez couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Leguizamón came out of the goal and Venancio Iraido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Jeremias Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Los Pitufos Asesinos's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Walme came free, but Cássio Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Venancio Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Pitufos Asesinos were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
