Omar Cuartio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Cordera in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in V 8's zone, Edelmiro Su stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Leguizamón came out of the goal and Edelmiro Su tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Leguizamón having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Edgard Flor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguilares FC's Omar Cuartio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. German Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filomeno Leguizamón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cecilio Abeitia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Su in the 62nd minute of play forced V 8's goalkeeper Filomeno Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguilares FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
