Spectators: 6646 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1646, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeo Gonzales started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Ixaka in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Fagildo saved FC Ikariam United from getting behind. Clemente Mannie scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Fagildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Mannie took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Fagildo. Haroldo Fagildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Romeo Gonzales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Horacio Taurino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romeo Gonzaless short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Horacio Taurino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Haroldo Fagildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Ixaka's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Desiderio Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Wilfredo Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eulalio Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Ixaka was the one to do the kick off. Luján FC's Horacio Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Argider in the 52nd minute of play. Haroldo Fagildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Ixaka in the 60th minute. If Vilgot Beckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Gonzales in the 63rd minute of play forced Luján FC's goalkeeper Horacio Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, FC Ikariam United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Acuña to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Desiderio Argider made a precise shot to the right of Horacio Taurino. Luján FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eulalio Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luján FC's Eulalio Ixaka in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ikariam United's goalie prevented a goal. Higinio Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Taurino having to interfere. When Ivan Chaime fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ikariam United's protests and gave Ivan Chaime a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes FC Ikariam United got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Chaime. Horacio Taurino came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ikariam United's Desiderio Argider. But to his dismay, Desiderio Argider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Higinio Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Taurino having to interfere. Aldo Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luján FC played a much better game than FC Ikariam United and deserved their victory. The FC Ikariam United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
