Fabio Beila came out and tried to block the shot, but Leon Frances slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Florentino Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isacch FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Tauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Chapelco got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Pereyra.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Frances stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chapelco's Nereo Tauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Chapelco from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Isacch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Isacch FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Isacch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Frances came free, but Fabio Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapelco's goalkeeper Nereo Tauro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florentino Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florentino Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Tauro having to interfere. Fabio Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Frances in the 97th minute of play. Fabio Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chapelco could leave the field as winners, despite Isacch FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
