CAFC MIDLAND's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute, Cecilio Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAFC MIDLAND's Eduardo Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Javiar in the 31st minute of play. Roque Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Carmelo Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAFC MIDLAND's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Goiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Gigi Dragu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAFC MIDLAND's Gigi Dragu got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 54th match minute, CAFC MIDLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense. Gigi Dragu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sixto Goiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAFC MIDLAND. Carmelo Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Eduardo Bizen managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Receptoría's Eugenio Sergi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Receptoría's Sixto Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Sandalio in the 69th minute of play. CAFC MIDLAND's Carmelo Sandalio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Gigi Dragu made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Goiz. Receptoría's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jonatan Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eduardo Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eugenio Sergi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Receptoría's protests and gave Eugenio Sergi a yellow card for diving instead. Eugenio Sergi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes of play, CAFC MIDLAND's Carmelo Sandalio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Goiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmelo Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gigi Dragu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CAFC MIDLAND's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
