Los Saparrastrozos's Leonides Estevez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Proença in the 52nd minute of play. Los Saparrastrozos's Justo Sadurni got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Sadurni in the 61st minute of play forced Granaderos's goalkeeper Victorio Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
