Armando Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, CHARRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Gabino came free, but Armando Indalecio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Indalecio having to interfere. Rodolfo Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Bernaldo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Gabino in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Indalecio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Hualcupén getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leonel Cai hit a great ball. Hualcupén's Rodolfo Gabino got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes CHARRAS got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Bernaldo. Rodolfo Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Indalecio having to interfere. Armando Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Cai in the 44th minute of play. Rodolfo Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Jonatan Gergori ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Indalecio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Abella to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Hualcupén got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Nicholas. In the 56th match minute, CHARRAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Hualcupén got a freekick which was hit by Candido Aurken. After 62 played minutes CHARRAS got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Bernaldo. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jonatan Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hualcupén's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Gergori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Indalecio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Armando Indalecio managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Hualcupén's Rodolfo Gabino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Hualcupén's Candido Aurken got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rodolfo Gabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Armando Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, CHARRAS's goalkeeper Armando Indalecio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Gabino. Leonel Cai hit a great ball. Reynaldo Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hualcupén's Rodolfo Gabino suffered a concussion in the 96th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Waldemar Huratiak charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Huratiak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hualcupén made a substitution. Severiano Castulo replaced Rodolfo Gabino. In the 98th minute, Waldemar Huratiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hualcupén's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
