Bartolo Rafel started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Beila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Playo. TheSimpsonFamily's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Beila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bartolo Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Carolo Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Segundo Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victoriano Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Urritz in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TheSimpsonFamily's Olimpiu Zgabei got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, TheSimpsonFamily was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Rafel to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Playo came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Sangre Roja FC's Honorio Urritz. But to his dismay, Honorio Urritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Victoriano Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Urritz in the 32nd minute of play. If Bartolo Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Ermegildo Patxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Eguerdi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolo Rafel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 41 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Bartolo Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Saul Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Eguerdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Rafel in the 58th minute of play. Segundo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sangre Roja FC's zone, Bartolo Rafel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Eguerdi came out of the goal and Bartolo Rafel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TheSimpsonFamily were furious when Bartolo Rafel was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Sangre Roja FC booed when TheSimpsonFamily was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Turi got free with Victoriano Playo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Eguerdi having to interfere. Honorio Urritz struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Victoriano Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangre Roja FC. If Segundo Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Zgabei fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 84th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. With a little luck, TheSimpsonFamily's Victoriano Playo got control of the ball when Honorio Urritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sangre Roja FC's Carolo Gipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Eguerdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Gartzea in the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sangre Roja FC's zone, Segundo Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Eguerdi came out of the goal and Segundo Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The TheSimpsonFamily manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sangre Roja FC to win.
