The supporters of Marmol Futbol Club booed when Sangre Roja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Turi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Sangre Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Henry came free, but Saul Eguerdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Abadie got free with Saul Eguerdi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sangre Roja FC's Mauro Artizar got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Henry made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Henry in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Eguerdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saul Eguerdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Henry in the 58th minute of play. Oscar Dabi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cirilo Dayam made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Honorio Urritz sent off a good shot on target. There was no doubt that Marmol Futbol Club were the better team. Marmol Futbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
