Los Portones's Ramon Domiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Richie in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Los Portones's Fulgencio Azibar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Los Portones's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Barros came free, but Ramon Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fulgencio Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Piamonte's zone, Mateo Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Dolcet came out of the goal and Mateo Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Azibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Richie in the 27th minute of play. Ramon Domiku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Samuel Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mateo Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Los Portones's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Ganix made a kick off. Los Portones's Ramon Domiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Gombal in the 52nd minute of play. If Fulgencio Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Alfredo Serapio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Piamonte's Gerardo Dolcet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Piamonte's zone, Mateo Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Dolcet came out of the goal and Mateo Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Los Portones booed when Piamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Serapio in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Dolcet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Licerio in the 91st minute of play. Constantino Ganix's late challenge caught a Los Portones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Ganix helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Piamonte got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Ganix. When the referee ended the match the Los Portones players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
