After having played for 5 minutes, Tiburcio Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Montoyiyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Celino in the 7th minute of play forced C.A.Montoyiyo's goalkeeper Teo Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claudio Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11thth minute of the game Andres Gonzales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO's Albino Thomas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A.Montoyiyo's Teo Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Txerran in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Cortez came free, but Albino Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Telmo in the 18th minute of play forced C.A.Montoyiyo's goalkeeper Teo Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Iratzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Telmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes, Claudio Celino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO and the C.A.Montoyiyo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Claudio Celino hit a great ball. Teofilo Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Albino Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Montoyiyo. 29 minutes into the match, Cesar Txerran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Iratzeder. C.A.Montoyiyo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Txerran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34thth minute of the game Claudio Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO's Albino Thomas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th match minute, DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Claudio Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO's goalkeeper Albino Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Cortez. Andres Gonzales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Claudio Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Albino Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Txerran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudio Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Thomas having to interfere. Teo Iratzeder made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gavino Sugar sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Sugar got free with Teo Iratzeder in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Gavino Sugar could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Teo Iratzeder however easily saved by the left post. The C.A.Montoyiyo fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when C.A.Montoyiyo's Claudio Cortez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Cortez in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Thomas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Silbestre in the 70th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO LUAN TORO's goalkeeper Albino Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Thomas having to interfere. Celestino Boni hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Claudio Cortez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Thomas skillfully saved the ball. Claudio Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Thomas having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Tiburcio Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Claudio Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Thomas was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Albino Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Silbestre in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Nicasio Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
