Spectators: 7112 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) El Pechador's Paulino Silvino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Gándara AFC's Jimeno Eneto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Olivar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Gándara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Silvino came free, but Laureano Galsino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the El Pechador defense, Efrain Aguilera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Olivar. The El Pechador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Olivar should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 20 in the game by Bonifacio Iturri from a close distance when the talented Laureano Galsino managed to make a qualified save. Gándara AFC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Gándara AFC's Gregorio Ignado got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Delmiro Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Iturri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laureano Galsino. Bonifacio Iturri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Goito in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Galsino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laureano Galsino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Silvino in the 37th minute of the match. If Antonio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Silvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Galsino having to make a save. Laureano Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Goito in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Silvino got free with Laureano Galsino in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulino Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Laureano Galsino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Eneto to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Pechador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Gándara AFC. Benedito Pimenta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ariel Olivar. 1-2. A hard shot 60 in the game by Jimeno Eneto from a close distance when the talented Ariel Olivar managed to make a qualified save. El Pechador's players were relieved. After 60 minutes, Jimeno Eneto made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. El Pechador's Ariel Olivar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Goito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Silvino in the 74th minute of play. Laureano Galsino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Silvino's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Bonifacio Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Iturri during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes El Pechador got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Iturri. Jimeno Eneto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Ariel Olivar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, El Pechador's Enrique Oinaz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Benedito Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gándara AFC's Laureano Galsino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Iturri in the 89th minute of play. Laureano Galsino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Silvino's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Antonio Goito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Galsino having to interfere. Efrain Aguilera's late challenge caught a El Pechador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Aguilera helped the player get up and apologised. Efrain Aguilera hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Silvino in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Galsino saved Gándara AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Iturri in the 98th minute of play forced Gándara AFC's goalkeeper Laureano Galsino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gándara AFC's Francisco Mateus got a free kick in the 99th minute. Chants of Gándara AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as El Pechador had held the ball for most of the match.
