The audience was convinced that Siro Lico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Lohitzun was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Clemente Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Simon Lluis made a huge save. Braulio Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Simon Lluis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Felipe Vachon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Gau in the 77th minute of play forced Caspichango's goalkeeper Justo Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes, Eugenio Francho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguilar and the Caspichango players grew even worse after the yellow card.
