Rafael Intxixu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 10 minutes into the match, Central Córdoba F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Santos came free, but Rafael Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Amado Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Intxixu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Central Córdoba F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonatan Cordaro was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN LORENZO DE METAN's players had a chance to rest. Jonatan Cordaro made a great header on SAN LORENZO DE METAN's corner, it was just that Central Córdoba F.C's Rafael Intxixu managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of SAN LORENZO DE METAN booed when Central Córdoba F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Central Córdoba F.C's Augusto Urtun got a free kick in the 25th minute. Rafael Intxixu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Dalmacio Mederi lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 39th minute, Dalmacio Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Jonatan Cordaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Intxixu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Santos in the 42nd minute of play forced Central Córdoba F.C's goalkeeper Rafael Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Amado Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Intxixu. The goal made the score 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rafael Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Fiz in the 59th minute of play forced Central Córdoba F.C's goalkeeper Rafael Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Amado Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Intxixu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Remigio Claris hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The long shot by Augusto Urtun in the 66th minute really tested Rogelio Giro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rafael Intxixu came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO DE METAN's Amado Santos. But to his dismay, Amado Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 81 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO DE METAN's Amado Santos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84 played minutes Central Córdoba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Tadzio. Rafael Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Santos in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Central Córdoba F.C defense, Eliseo Fiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Intxixu. The Central Córdoba F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Intxixu should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the SAN LORENZO DE METAN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
