Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Garoa started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Raimundo Menendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lonquimay Club and the Josefina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Rojelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Gudesteo in the 5th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Leonel Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Josefina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Dominic lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Josefina's Emiliano Dominic got a free kick in the 14th minute. Aaron Odon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulgencio Gentza. Josefina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Vistruario might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Gentza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Vistruario ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Vistruario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Vistruario couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Gentza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Vistruario in the 41st minute of play forced Josefina's goalkeeper Fulgencio Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After a defensive mix-up in Josefina's zone, Ermegildo Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Gentza came out of the goal and Ermegildo Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aaron Odon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Gentza. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Josefina's Leonel Gudesteo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Odon in the 67th minute of play forced Josefina's goalkeeper Fulgencio Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lonquimay Club booed when Josefina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Arotza in the 80th minute of play forced Lonquimay Club's goalkeeper Inocencio Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Francisco Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lonquimay Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Gentza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Odon in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lonquimay Club's Aaron Odon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulgencio Gentza. That made the score 0-2 after 92 minutes of play. Lonquimay Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
