The Irigoyen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Julio Nuno's late challenge caught a Irigoyen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Pomona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Nuno to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Irigoyen FC's Ciriaco Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Ekhi in the 16th minute of play. Ciriaco Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Argina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Obeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ciriaco Elia came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pomona FC's Geronimo Salbatore. But to his dismay, Geronimo Salbatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 25 minutes of play, Pomona FC's Lorenzo Erauso made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Elia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcial Argina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Kiliz in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Irigoyen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Tino came free, but Ciriaco Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Obeko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcial Argina. That made the score 3-3 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Obeko made a kick off. Ciriaco Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Tino in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Apolo Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Argina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Obeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pomona FC's Marcial Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Obeko in the 57th minute of play. Lorenzo Erauso charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Godofredo Romano charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Romano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pomona FC booed when Irigoyen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Elia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Erauso in the 72nd minute of play forced Irigoyen FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Elia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Tino in the 73rd minute of the match. Ciriaco Elia was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Ricardo Tino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Tino really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. Ciriaco Elia was a little too slow when Leopoldo Ekhi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 3-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Tino in the 87th minute of play forced Irigoyen FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Pedro Frechoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciriaco Elia, 3-7. Pomona FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
