An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Quintyn in the 22nd minute of play forced Yoca AFC's goalkeeper Luis Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Colon hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, one of Polvaredas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Polvaredas. Cristobal Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Quilo in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Maurin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Polvaredas's Leonardo James was substituted for Narciso Quintyn. When Inocencio Quilo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yoca AFC's protests and gave Inocencio Quilo a yellow card for diving instead.
