With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Javiero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salinas AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Javiero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Los Mormones F.C's Gogo Pes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genaro Javiero. Genaro Javiero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A hard shot 12 in the game by Genaro Mikeldi from a close distance when the talented Genaro Javiero managed to make a qualified save. Salinas AFC's players were relieved. Salinas AFC's Genaro Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Pes in the 15th minute of play. Genaro Javiero was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Gogo Pes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gogo Pes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 20th minute, Fábio Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Dario Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Salinas AFC's Javier Romildo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gogo Pes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Genaro Javiero to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Genaro Mikeldi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Javiero. Salinas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genaro Mikeldi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the Salinas AFC defense, Genaro Mikeldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Javiero. The Salinas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Javiero should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Salinas AFC's zone, Lautaro Martines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Javiero came out of the goal and Lautaro Martines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Pes to strike the kick off in the second half. The Los Mormones F.C fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Los Mormones F.C's Genaro Mikeldi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gogo Pes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Javiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Los Mormones F.C getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Genaro Mikeldi hit a great ball. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Los Mormones F.C's Genaro Mikeldi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Gogo Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Genaro Mikeldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Javiero was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Salinas AFC's Javier Romildo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lautaro Martines scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Salinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Mikeldi came free, but Genaro Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
