In the 6th minute, Mariusz Moczkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marciano Milian struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Justino Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.V.. Fabricio Santxol charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Santxol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Promocion 09 booed when S.C.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Promocion 09's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Moczkiewicz came free, but Justino Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Dubardo's late challenge caught a S.C.V.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Dubardo helped the player get up and apologised. Benjamin Dubardo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariusz Moczkiewicz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Vasco saved Promocion 09 from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Mariusz Moczkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Vasco. Promocion 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariusz Moczkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reiner Bøtner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Justino Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reiner Bøtner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Vasco having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariusz Moczkiewicz in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Vasco saved Promocion 09 from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play Promocion 09's Benjamin Dubardo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marciano Milian's late challenge caught a Promocion 09's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Milian helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 minutes, Mariusz Moczkiewicz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Promocion 09's Justino Vasco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fabricio Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Promocion 09 got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Gai. After the first half S.C.V. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Moczkiewicz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Promocion 09's zone, Mariusz Moczkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Vasco came out of the goal and Mariusz Moczkiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Marciano Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Moczkiewicz got free with Justino Vasco in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes of play, Promocion 09's Fulgencio Gai made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolf Stieglitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Mikelats during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mariusz Moczkiewicz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Promocion 09's Justino Vasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Promocion 09 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, S.C.V.'s Joaquin Deunoro got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd match minute, S.C.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Milian to maneuver through the defense. Mariusz Moczkiewicz in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Justino Vasco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. S.C.V.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
