After 3 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Gizon. Rodrigo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Enetz in the 4th minute of play. Niceto Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Aurelio Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nicasio Padro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Olavarria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Padro couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Padro got free with Aurelio Abechuco in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Olavarria FC's Nicasio Padro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Abechuco. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Juan Veto's shot from long distance in the 21st minute was not bad at all, but Gooooal FC's Aurelio Abechuco knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gooooal FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Abechuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Enetz in the 24th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Olavarria FC defense, Arturo Lucila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Quirino. The Olavarria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Quirino should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Teofilo Enetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Savion charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Savion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Gooooal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Savion to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when Gooooal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Aurelio Abechuco managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Olavarria FC's Nicasio Padro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Padro made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Nicasio Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olavarria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Gooooal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Padro came free, but Aurelio Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavarria FC's Nicasio Padro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Olavarria FC's Nicasio Padro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Abechuco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 74th match minute, Olavarria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Gizon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Regis in the 79th minute of play forced Gooooal FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gooooal FC booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Gooooal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Padro came free, but Aurelio Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Lucila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Quirino made a huge save. If Niceto Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
