Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nikos Veletzas kicked off to start the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Sixto Merexildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres De Cba's Vicente Artizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Adrian Luke notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Villares's Ladislao Fagildo. Ladislao Fagildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sixto Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Artizar having to interfere. Vicente Artizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Merexildo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Talleres De Cba's Vicente Artizar got control of the ball when Victorino Edorta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 30th play minutes Sixto Merexildo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Vicente Artizar and just under the crossbar into goal. Mariano Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vicente Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Sixto Merexildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vicente Artizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 38 minutes, Sixto Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Merexildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vicente Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Merexildo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Artizar saved Talleres De Cba from getting behind.

When Villares's Sixto Merexildo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talleres De Cba's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Mariano Lluques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lluques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Talleres De Cba defense, Sixto Merexildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Artizar. The Talleres De Cba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Artizar should have stopped the shot. Sixto Merexildo took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Artizar. Vicente Artizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Mariano Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 played minutes Talleres De Cba got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Lawrence. Cristian Dubardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Merexildo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Artizar saved Talleres De Cba from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Severiano Alvarez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres De Cba the free kick. After a rather tough play, Villares's Severiano Alvarez got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, Villares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Artizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lluques in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Sixto Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villares's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Merexildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Artizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Artizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Merexildo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Villares had played much better football throughout.
