The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Platon during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 minutes, Modesto Ponc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FakersNN and the Club Almirante BROWN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonel Vargas had several of the Club Almirante BROWN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Theobald in the 86th minute of play forced FakersNN's goalkeeper Higinio Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Almirante BROWN fans cheered their team off the field, for while FakersNN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
